Since I can remember, I've struggled with the societal pressure to hate myself because I was "different." When I look back on my life, I see clearly that not only did I not fit the status quo physically but mentally it was just the same. I didn't fit in any of the boxes the outside world tried to force me into and instead of conforming, I fought. It's safe to say this made the course of my teen and young adult years much more difficult than they'd have been if I'd chosen the easier route of adapting.

Looking back, I'd do it all over again to be where I am now. This is what makes me the perfect guide for this movement and specifically this rebirth experience.
I have fought an uphill battle to arrive at my current destination that allows me to lead my life with unapologetic confidence. I turned my "differences" into my superpowers. I have gathered the tools to be my most confident self and I believe I have something real and authentic that's hard to come by in this world.
